Description
The YMCA Rookie 3 For All gives participants the opportunity to participate in YMCA Rookie Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. This program will run for 6 weeks with the sports changing every 2 weeks. This program is designed for participants to learn and understand the basic fundamental skills of Rookie Soccer, Rookie Basketball, and Rookie Flag Football in a safe, fun and non-competitive environment. The core lessons will focus on the fundamentals of each sport with respects to team spirit, hand/eye coordination, offensive/defensive responsibilities and physical activity. The program is aimed to teach children that teamwork and sportsmanship come before competitiveness. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and an award at the end of the program.
