About the Topic:
Starting your own company and want to get a better understanding of basic payroll tax from the federal and state perspective. Please join us for this two hour seminar put on by the EDD (Employment Development Department). Topics covered will include: California payroll reporting requirements, including forms, employer obligations, reporting, and payment requirements, independent contractor, electronic filing, and Federal filing and alternative filing concepts.
About the Speaker:
Leticia Lozano’s career with the Employment Development Department (EDD) includes 17 years working in the Unemployment Program and the last 5 years in our Tax Payers Educational Program. Leticia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from California State University at Fullerton, and a California Secondary Teaching Credential.
