Usama is an associate with Fisher & Phillips LLP, a national law firm with over 300 attorneys specializing in employment law. Usama represents and counsels employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage & hour, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, employee discipline, termination, and trade secrets. He regularly advises clients on workplace investigations, overtime exemptions, and employee vs. independent contractor classification issues, as well as on data security and document retention. He also represents clients in audits and investigations by state and federal agencies, including the  DLSE, EDD, EEOC, and SCIF.
