ELR Class of 2023-2024 Community Project

Dear Community Partner,
The Corona Chamber of Commerce has been pioneering a distinctive program, known as the Executive Leadership Roundtable (ELR), since the 1980s. This program plays a vital role in fortifying the community by equipping local leaders with the tools to explore the abundant resources within the broader Corona region. Additionally, it fosters meaningful connections among a diverse group of skilled leaders, empowering them to extend their involvement for the betterment of the community.
 
Within the span of this 10-month program, ELR Leaders undertake a range of learning objectives, culminating in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of a community impact project. The class of 2023-2024 has chosen to dedicate their efforts to the transformation of the "Parent Center" within the Corona-Norco Unified School District. Specifically, their focus lies on renovating and redesigning a crucial area known as "The Closet." This space serves as a resource for families in need, particularly homeless and foster youth residing in Corona, providing them with clothing and shoes. The project's objective is to revamp this area, giving it the ambiance of a boutique shop, while ensuring that it is well-stocked with new clothing and new footwear, with tags attached.

We humbly request your support for the project, either through a tax-deductible contribution or by generously providing in-kind services and items to benefit the Parent Center. Our collective aim is to raise $27,000 to provide robust support for this vital service project.
