Dear Friends and Family,

On January 7 th 2013 we lost Tasos Tsirtsis due to leukemia at the young age of 34. A loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father and friend became an angel after battling the disease since September of 2012. Tasos was a very special and courageous young man who touched the lives of so many with his generous heart and spirit, humor, positive energy and talent.

We will forever miss his big smile, his jokes, his bear hugs and exuberant personality. He lived his life doing what he loved most… playing his music, bringing happiness to others, cherishing his family and friends and loving his many animals.

He had huge dreams for his future. He wanted to provide his children a good life with many opportunities. Sadly, he wasn't able to reach those goals as his illness took over and he now looks over us.

We know in our hearts that he would want us to continue his dream and keep his music playing. We know that he would want to help others in pain and need as he would have done had he been alive today.

And so, TASO’S PROJECT FOR KIDS FOUNDATION was created.

In celebration of his 40th birthday, and in an effort to raise funds to continue our mission, we will be hosting a fundraising gala event to benefit kids in need who have lost of a parent to cancer. A music scholarship program will also be part of Tasos Project for Kids to continue to live his passion for music.

Please join us to celebrate his life and memorial foundation on Sunday, June 10 from 5-9 pm. The event will be held at Citrus City Grille 2765 Lakeshore Drive Corona.

We also ask for your contribution to our silent auction with your product or service, gift cards or anything you feel will assist us in raising funds for Tasos Project for Kids.

We, in turn, promise you an unforgettable event full of fun food music and lots of surprises, just like Tasos would want it to be.
